MN-500 Speed

Hello, I have just upgraded my DSL to 10Meg and when I connect directly to my
computer, I am at 9.6 MEG. Howeverm when I plug in through my MN-500 the
speed is cut down to 5.1.

Cann you please advise how I can fix this so I have best possible speed?
