MN-500 set up

Trying to set up via setup wizard. I get "There was a
problem configuring your base station"

I have Restored factory settings on base station,
uninstalled firewall software, disabled XP firewall,
disabled antivirus.

Same results, anything else to try?

When I open MS Broadband Network Utility - everything is
there, computer, network and internet and shows it as
connected.

Obviously I have internet access from this computer alos.

Have you tried not using the software and connecting to the rouer directly?

Assuming your computer got an ip from the router's dhcp server, you can goto
the router's Base Station Management Tool (http://192.168.2.1) and configure
everything in there.

Im having the same problem i tried the
(http://192.168.2.1) and you have to have a password to
get into it, which the password is set in the part where
it says "there was a problem configuring your base
station" so its not really helping with out a password.

Password was a problem with me too until I read the documentation,
default password is set at "admin"

After getting this everything seems to be working fine but, I need to
make a floppy to set up an additional computer in the home and I can't
find the menu to make this floppy, but still looking.

My laptop works great no problems there :-)

I'm having the same problem setting mine up.
Ready to take it back, been messing with it for over 1 hour
already.

If you're running Symantec (Norton) anti-virus, try temporarily uninstalling
it.
