Those type of software programs are separate from the router/base station
operation. As far as I know, you can make your own choice, and as long as
you can program the program to allow LAN traffic among your systems, you'll
be fine. Keep in mind the Service Pack 2 due out around mid-year, will
include a much-improved firewall which automatically recognizes your LAN
setup AND a pop-blocker in Internet Explorer. It works quite well.
