MN-500 Radio Frequency Interference

Seems the cable from my MN-500 router to my computer emits
strong radio frequency interference all over the RF
spectrum.

When do data is being passed, the signal is a strong
carrier frequency, with no apparent modulation. When data
is flowing, the carrier is modulated. These
carriers 'birdies' are all over the place in the range of
3-60 MHz.

When I disconnect the cable at the MN-500 end,
the 'birdies' disappear completely -- i.e., signal is
being radiated from the cable - absolutely.

It appears that this box (MN-500) fairs to meet FCC Part
15 specifications regarding unwanted RF emissions.

Has anyone else had similar experiences -- and is there
a 'fix'?

Have you tried a different cable? A different MN-500 (in case yours is
defective)?
