Sigh .... So I purchased this unit in November and had
excellent luck - 20minutes from installation to online
with a laptop using the USB network adaptor. I go to
change my WEP keys today - low and behold, the setup
program won't complete. I have 1) Disabled McAfee AV SW
2) Performed multiple resets of the base unit followed by
multiple power downs 3)Insured that ICF is not running 4)
Removed a and re-installed the Networking Configuration SW

Nothing has worked and I now my frustration grows as my
entire home network has gone from running smoothly to
down and out for the count - all as a result of a normal
maitenance practice. My DSL modem continues to work - If
I bypass the base unit. Any suggestions are greatly
appreciated.

Hello. I'm experiencing the exact problem right now. It
stopped working since last friday. I guess it was
because I didn't install the updates from the software.
But now I have uninstalled the software, and it won't let
me set things up. It keeps saying 'disable the firewall'
and 'reset the modem.' I have disable the firewall, I
uninstalled the McAfee virus scanner, I have restarted
the modem numorous times, and I made sure that I disabled
the ICS. But it keeps displaying the error message. My
external modem works just fine, when it's directly
connected. How can I solve this problem? Any suggestions
are greatly appreciated.
