MN-500 not pulling ip from provider....

I have a mn-500 wireless router and I cannot get it to
pull an IP address. Any ideas? I have tried release and
renew many times. I can also connect directly to my dsl
modem from my computer and I my computer pulls down one of
my providers ip addresses! Otherwise I have to put it in
bridging mode and I lose functionality .......
