MN 500 installing a HP D155xi all in one printer.

I have not been able to make this work. Do I need to switch
the base station to bridging mode or what. I would greatly
appreciate it if someone could walk me through this proces.
The Printer is directly connected to the base station. I
get to the point where the software recogizes the printer,
but when I get to the point where you can press auto
settings it doesnt do it. If I check manual settings it
lets me go on to the next screen where I enter my
setting,(IP,gateway,etc) but it doesnt let me go past that
point. I had originally set some settings on the printer
through its keypad, maybe I need to reset it. As you can
tell I havent done this before and would like some help.
