My home network connection is down (Comcast customer), and
I've read on some other forums the issue may be related to
my router's firmware (I can connect if I connect the PC
directly to the modem).

Is there any way to download the firmware without using
the update utility? If so I can take the firmware home
and install.

Connect your comp to modem and download MSBNDownload.exe
from the following link for getting the latest update for
MN-500
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...etworking/10_D
LoadMain.mspx

OK, I thought MSBNDownload was the update utility itself --
which wouldn't help me if I couldnt get on to the
internet from home to get the update :-)

Just so I can confirm, what is the latest firmware version?

Thanks again!
