MN-500 and a Mac

I have been using my MN-500 wireless router just fine with my PC's. Just
recently I got a new i-book Mac with OS X. I can connect to the internet by
directly connecting the mac with an ethernet cable to the router but it
cannot coonect wirelessly. Can these two work together? If so can anyone help
me or direct me to a link/post that might explain something? Thanks so much
