MN-110 will not let laptop turnoff

Unit works pretty well. Then during the day I lose internet
connection for some reason. If I reboot or turn off pc it
will get to the the windows shutdown screen and stop. I
have to hit the reset button. I have tried various things,
unplugging before powering down does not help.
