Hi,

I have a MN-100 and I want to connect a 5 port 100mbps
swtich to it to expand the number of ports available. My
question is, can the MN-100 support more than 4 ports
with a swtich added?

So long as you use the uplink port on the switch you are adding or use a
crossover cable between them to a normal port you should be fine.

the switch could be auto sensing and a x-over may not be needed.

That's great! Thanks for the replies. I'll see if I can
get a auto sensing 5 port swtich so I don't need to worry
about the crossover/straight cables...

Does anyone know the total amount of the computers the
MH-100 can support? You know, the theoretical limit ?

253 since it has a standard class C subnet of 255.255.255.0 & uses one
local IP address.
