I noticed a 10/2003 update on the web site - is this later
than 1.08? Is it better?
Does it fix the problem where clients cannot be blocked
from the internet between 11:00PM and 12:00AM?

It does resolve that issue. It also allows you to use loop back
support. (I'm not going to install it after I've heard of some of the
problems it creates)

The update fixes your problem in addition to adding new features like
loopback support, additional port forwards etc.

I would recommend you get it ASAP.

Thank you Jason - but the other response I received (from
Joker) alluded to problems being created by the new
release. The router is rock-solid now. Perhaps I should
stand pat?

It's your call.

I didn't have any problems on mine.
