The log msg indicates that someone is trying to hack your
computer from the Internet (but was stopped at the router
firewall) -- this is good, since it shows the connection
is working
Probably you are not getting DNS resolution. Under the
Wide Area Network settings on the router, make sure you
have selected Dynamic and typically you should set Obtain
DNS address to Automatically (unless the ISP says
otherwise). Also, try turning off the modem for 3mn and
turning on therafter.
The logs regarding the connection should show a DHCP
Discover followed by the following:
2004/06/02 23:38:12 DHCP Client : Send Request, Request
IP = x.x.x.x
2004/06/02 23:38:12 DHCP Client : Receive Ack from
y.y.y.y, Lease time = 14400
