Mixed Fixed IP and NAT - can it be done?

When I get broadband (soon I hope as my exchange has been triggered) I think
I will go for Zen and get 8 fixed IP addresses. I would like if possible to
run a mixed fixed IP address/NAT network. I would like a mail server and my
network camera to have fixed IP addresses and the rest of the network using
NAT. Can this be done using a router such as the Netgear DG82MUK?

If this is possible could someone explain to me the steps?

Set up all your computers to use NAT type addresses (eg in the private
address range such as 192.168.0.x)

IP1 is the router address

Tell the router to map all incoming connections to

IP2 -> 192.168.0.2
IP3 -> 192.168.0.3
IP4 -> 192.168.0.4
etc.

Then make sure that the mail server and network camera use fixed private
IP addresses. Tell the DHCP server in the router to start dishing out to
the rest of the network at 192.168.0.10

As an alternative, why not use fixed routeable IP addresses for each
computer? You can have as many IP addresses as you want if you have the
need for them (Zen may charge for more than 8 but there are others who
don't).

I know it can be done with a Draytek 2600 as that is the sort of thing
I am going. Webcam and 3 PC's on their own fixed IP address. A few
others using NAT.
