Missing workgroup on Windows Server 2003 server

I have a multihomed Windows Server 2003 member server on a Windows
Server 2003 domain. This particular machine acts as the media server
for my backups (using Veritas Backup Exec 10).

I've noticed that this particular machine can't see one of the
workgroups when I go into My Network Places-->Entire
Network-->Microsoft Windows Network. I see our domain and two other
workgroups, but not the third one.

If I go to one of the member servers in the missing workgroup, the
workgroup appears just fine and all three members show up.

Also, from the media server, I can ping the various workgroup members
by name and IP address, and I can connect to their various admin
shares.

And ideas?

Multihomed servers are always a problem for the browser service. Is
Netbios over TCP/IP enabled on both interfaces?

The place to start is with KB 188305 . The browstat utility mentioned is
in the support tools for W2k/2k3 Server.

Thanks.

I started down that road, but gave up on it. The main concern was with
the backups, but since I can still get to them by name or IP, it wasn't
worth the time to troubleshoot the missing workgroup issue.

Still, though, I'm going to take a look at that article when I have
some down time (ha!). Thanks again.
