Every time my customer tries to connect to his isp using
dial-up networking, the password is incorrect. He will
type in the correct password (6 characters), check
the "Save Password" option, and connect. The next time
he tries to connect, the saved password has changed
length (either 8 or 9 characters now) and he can't
authenticate unless he retypes the correct password. I
know that Win2k and later versions of windows change the
appearance of saved passwords in dial-up networking for
security, but this appears to be actually changing the
password since he can't authenticate. Any ideas??
