Depends which bit you live in. I have had 512k (now 1Mb) from Pipex in South
MK for almost 4 years. I am just over 3km from the exchange, so 1Mb is all I
can get - but Easynet are in my exchange offering up to 8Mb - a friend who
lives 1.5Km from the same exchange gets that fine, and is deliriously happy
with the speed.
Monkston and Loughton are the only two MK estates where there are any
problems, and these are being quickly resolved. The rest of MK can get 512k
minimum, and higher speeds as services and distance from exchanges allow.
