Quick, possibly daft question here. This afternoon, my migration from AOL to
ADSL24 was completed. My wife had connected to AOL via the modem this
morning and left the connection going all day. I had checked the ADSL24
website at work at lunchtime and the status was showing as live. Meanwhile
the modem remained connected to my AOL setting. Would the connection have
remained on AOL until I disconnected and reconnected with the new login
details?

Don't be to quick to thank him as when the routing is changed you won't be
able to log on with old details & the very fact you can looks suspiciously
as if you have been fully migrated yet...

No problem! After posting I rebooted the PC and the AOL connection was dead
and I could connect with the new service.
