migrating from NT4 server to Win2K server

I manage a small biz network. We have about 45 machines all running WinXP or
Win2K. We have an old NT4 server which is only used for Domain login and
permissions. We use a NAS solution for file storage.
We do not use exchange server or database functions
I am anticipating the day when the 10 year old NT4 server dies and now I
want to set up a new machine to replace it. I am guessing I just need to use
Win2K Server but how do I go about it ?
If anyone can point me to a nice simple resource giving step by step
guidance, I would be very appreciative. Any advice or recommendations
please?
