Migrating DHCP from Netware

Hi,

We are in the process of migrating from a Novell environment to a
Windows 2003 environment. We currently have DHCP running on the
Netware server and we want to move it to the Windows 2003 server. I
have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with.

I want to setup the same DHCP scope on the Windows server that is
currently setup on the Netware server. When I disable DHCP on Netware
and enable it on Windows, will the clients do a broadcast for a DHCP
server or will they try to connect to the server that gave them their
IP address?

If they do a broadcast and the Windows server responds, they will ask
if they can keep their existing IP address. Will Windows allow them to
keep it or will it try to assign a different address?

If it tries to assign a different address, how can we avoid IP address
conflicts (Windows doesn't know which addresses Netware has assigned)?

Thanks

David Kirk
