Migrating from BTopenworld to Pipex

I have just requested my migration from BTopenworld to Pipex ADSL.

How long does it normally take to hear back from Pipex and how long to
actually have the migration completed?

Looking forward to the 20th November when(if I'm migrated by then) I can
upgrade to the 1mb connection :-)

Have done exactly the same thing, BT just pissed me off one too many times.

I applied on 30th September for migration to PIPEX. I received notification
from PIPEX that they had sent a request to BT Wholesale a day or so later
and within 5 days of my request I received a phonecall from BTOpenworld
confirming I wanted to migrate from their service (don't worry if you miss
this phonecall, they also sent me an email).
Once I had confirmed PIPEX supplied me with my migration date of 24th
October. So the whole process took 24 days for me.

I don't know about the specific advantages of Pipex, but if it's not BT
