I am having a hard time with internet sharing. I use 7004vwbr as my AP
by turned off HDCP,WEP,Firewall,WAN and assign it a IP
192.168.0.254/255... Connect pc (win98se) to LAN port#1, installed ICS
and setup IP as 192.168.0.1/255... With PC (w2k), set IP
192.168.0.5/255...
I can share file between 2 pc's without problem, however I just can
not sharing internet which host by my pc (win98se) via a internal
modem.

Well, this way works...when I terminated the wireless connection,
connect to router on port#2 with hard WIRE, it works
perfectly......WHY ???

Could this causes by the ICS setup ? or the is the problem with my
7004vwbr router configuration ?

You should be "sharing" the modem network adapter. It will assign the
192.168.0.1 IP automatically to your NIC so don't you assign anything. Then
your other computers will get their own IP's. Get that working before
playing with set IP's on the other computers.

Oh...I have it fixed with two things...
1) turned OFF the norton nav on my w2k PC;
2) changed the MTU setting on my win98se to 1500 which match my w2k pc.

After that it works. It is more likely the norton has caused such problem.
