I have a linksys WPC54GS Wireless card and I have chosen not to use the
utility software that comes with it. I would like to use the Microsoft
option for this. I have Windows 2000 on this particular laptop and When I go
to setup my connection for it in the Network properties of the card, there is
no tab to choose "Let Microsoft setup this Connection" and you put in the
SSID and the encryption key. I have ran all the necessary updates, and I
still have no luck. I do have another laptop that has Windows 2000 on it and
it was on there automatically. The 3 tabs that I have are General, Sharing
and Authentication. Anybody know how I can add this feature?
