I have the B wireless router and card that Sam's Club sells for about $110.
Was a cinch to install and works as advertised, but the wireless card only
works well up to about 100 ft or so. My Linksys USB unit with external
antenna gets many times more range than the Microsoft card with the existing
Microsoft router. If I upgrade to G, I'll probably not go with Microsoft
again and would look into Linksys.

Wireless B (MN-500) with the latest firmware update is rock solid and
reliable. Very easy to use interface. Wireless G (MN-700) is slow and
flakey, a firmware update should fix this. If you are looking for B, I'd
say Microsoft's solution is good. If you are looking for G, I'd say look
elsewhere or wait for Microsoft to offer a firmware update to resolve
slowness and other issues that people are reporting in Microsoft's forums.

I'm using the Wireless B setup with notebook adapter. It was a very easy to
setup and signal strength has been excellent to very good no matter in
where in the house I've used the notebook. I very pleased and honestly
surprised that the software behemoth seems to have gotten this product right
the first time out.
