Hello

I am looking at solution for Microsoft VPN Client on Windows XP Professional.

We are trying to connect to VPN Server through MS VPN Client. The VPN Sever
is configured in our headquarter Office (Hoston).

I have configure L2TP IPSec VPN in Microsoft VPN Client and selected
following protocols
PAP, CHAP, MS-CHAP, MS-CHAP v2 for connecting VPN Server as documentation
provided by VPN Server Admin.

Whenever I am going to connect to VPN Server it is successfully connected but
after 2 or 3 min. it disconnected.

I tried to configure multiple options but still it is disconnected every 2 or
3 min.

Following are the parameter is set in microsoft vpn client.
PPP Setting
Enable LCP extention
Enable Software compression

Data Encryption
Require encryption

I do not think it is problem in firewall cauze it is connecting to vpn. But
connection is not stable it gets disconnect every 2 or 3 min.
I also check that there is not idle setting is configure. Even I could not
find any logs while connected or disconncted.

Note : We are not using any pre-shared key. VPN Admin has provide user named
passwd to connect.

I wonder if anyone help me to resolve the problem.
Uday
