I have my ME based desktop machine connected to a wireless network in my
home.

The other machine is an XP based Compaq laptop.

After a recent motherboard failure i am reconfiguiing my desktop machine. I
have used various "wizards" which i incompletely understand.

I have access to the files i want on my laptop BUT I wanty to be able to
start my desktop machine up without it waiting for me to enter a password.

At present i get a screen asking me to enter a password for Microsoft
Networking. I have not set a password and just click OK.
I am the only user on this machine. How do i make it log me on
autiomatically?

As an aside I can't access files on my desktop from my laptop. It would be
nice to be able to do this and i could before.

Networking Naif.

In TweakUI, on the Desktop tab, "Show Search Results" needs to be enabled
for search to work correctly.
