Those steps are right for Windows 95/98, but not for Windows Me.
To install the Dial-Up Adapter in Windows Me, go to Control Panel |
Add/Remove Programs | Windows Setup | Communications and install
Dial-Up Networking.
I don't understand why setting up a wireless card would require the
Dial-Up Adapter.
