Messup with LAN Cards

Hi!
We have two machines: one (A) has 2 LAN cards, through one of which it can
be reached in the firm's intranet. (a LAN). Through the other card, it
should communicate with another machine (B), which has one LAN card. A sees
B and the shared directories of B can be reached from it with no problem. B
also sees A, but not 'perfectly'. On machine B, if you search for A (by
name), it is found, but the location is described as 'unknown'. When I try
to explore the machine found, a network password is asked for. I have tried
the password of win98 on B, the password of the user logged in on A at the
time, but neither was accepted. What can cause this?
Before adding TCP/IP on B (in Network / Properties), A could not see B. I
added TCP/IP on both machines.
(If some expressions are not what you are used to, it's because I am working
with the Hungarian version of windows. The problem is language-independent,
however. )

Thx,
Gus

YOu'll need to use some sort of 3rd party routing program to move traffic
efficiently between the 2 nics. In the win2000 world, you'd use ROUTE.EXE
or Internet COnnection Sharing to do this.
