I have 2 win98 machines home networked both running oe6. Machine 1 has a
nice set of mail message rules and blocked senders that I have built
over the years. Machine 2 does not have these rules. Can I
export/import/move/copy the machine 1 rules to machine 2? Thank you.

You can use SafeMail utility to solve this task. It has a simple wizard that
allows one to create a full self-extracting copy of all e-mail, address
book, accounts and other settings of Outlook Express.
Then all you'll have to do is to run resulting EXE file on the other
computer.

Trial version (limited to backing up up to 10 message folders) of SafeMail
can be downloaded from
http://www.qwhale.com/download/safem...Install103.zip

Transferring message rules and blocked senders list is free.

Should you have any questions regarding SafeMail please don't hesitate to
contact me.

Very useful. The partial backup/restore instructions worked well. With
the network, I saved the*.reg file to the desktop of pc 1 then copied it
to the desktop of pc 2. From there just followed the instructions. Was a
little nervous intentionally deleting a register, but jumped in and it
worked. Thanks for the reference.
