Hi,

While setting up a Medion Wireless router (recently bought from Aldi -
Model MD 95038) I tried to remove the standard user/password
combination (admin/admin used to work).

I deleted the username and also the password and hit save.

Now I can't get to administer anything with either the default or
anything else. I tried pressing the reset button through a hole in the
casing rear both with and without power on. Left it pressed for 30
secs. Pressed it with power on, removed power and left it pressed for
further 30 secs but nothing has reset it to factory admin
name/password.

There is nothing else available to press or fiddle with. It is still
accesible by wired connection through default 192.168.0.100 IP address
but I can't change any settings.

Could anyone reveal or suggest any thing else to factory reset this
device. I have not been able to get through to the help line.

TIA. Tony.

Discovered that reset needs to be pushed, power disconnected, wait
some seconds, reconnect power and still continue to press reset button
for 20 more seconds. During the latter 20 seconds all the LEDs start
to flash in unison and Hardware reset has occured.

Including this for anyone with the same problem.
