It's been 2 days since I have been able to connect wirelessly and I have
exhausted every possible fix I could find. It's time for me to post and
try to find a networking super-sleuth.

Here's the story:
Everything was working fairly well and out of no where, the connection
dropped. It connected for 5 minutes yesterday, but has yet to return.

Here's my specs:
OS Name Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
System Name ACER-E8F5014F99
System Manufacturer Acer
System Model TravelMate 4200
Router: Belkin Wireless G
computer is a laptop with internal wireless card
Cable modem motorola surfboard

Here's my ipconfig/all:

3945ABG Network Connection

I did a firmware update.
I've tried different channels.
I have the latest drivers.
I have run WinsockFix
I have enabled Wireless Zero Configuration
I have uninstalled and re-installed the drivers
I have done a system restore and went back to last week.
my wireless switch is on.
I have disabled/enabled/rebooted/reconnected all of the devices in
every combination and many times.
My system can detect the wireless signal, it is strong. I am only one
foot away from the router.
I have no other wireless signals in the area.
I did not get a new cordless phone or baby monitor.

I am at a complete loss here. I'm hoping that someone here will look
at my ipconfig and figure it right out.

Thanks,
Lisa

Bit late, maybe the issue has been resolved.

First suggestion,

open device manager ( My Computer -right click- properties- hardware-

Make a careful assessment of the info detailed under network adaptors

Report back if necessary.
