Linksys announces:
----------------------------
Linksys has released another firmware upgrade to the WRT54G. From
their web site:

Firmware Version 1.30.7
- Adds UI control to enable/disable frame bursting
- Resolves issue with firmware upgrade error in Internet Explorer
6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633, on Windows XP pro.
- Send 192.168.1.1 to disable DynDNS
- Resolves issue with using the 4th tx key for WEP
- Resolves issue with disconnecting PPPoE causing WPA to be disabled
-----------------------------

What the line

- Send 192.168.1.1 to disable DynDNS

means?

That the problem of disabling DynDNS is solved, or that DynDNS is
going to be blocked out? - I'm a little bit worried before upgrading
because I have Linksys router and DynDNS dynamic account

Having worked in the software industry for a number of years now, that
sounds like a developer reporting that this issue has been resolved. If
this is the case, the developer may be indicating that the cause of the
DynDNS problem (whatever that was) was related to the address "192.168.1.1".

You should be able to find older firmware releases on the 'Net. I recommend
that anybody looking to upgrade their router's firmware have older firmware
on hand in case the new one introduces new/unexpected problems.

I'm reminded of the (alleged) Microsoft software development mission
statement:

"Doing a job right the first time gets the job done. Doing the job wrong
17 times gives you job security". :-)
