When I am using the ME computer on my home network and I
try to access the NT 4.0 computer. A "Enter Network
Password" dialog box appears that indicates the following:
=======================================
You must supply a password to make this connection.

Resource: \\NTcomputername\IPC$

Password:

=========================================

After entering the administrator password of the NT
computer another dialog box appears that gives the
following message:

"The password was not recognized. Make sure you typed
the password correctly and try again......."

When I connect to the NT computer using any other XP
professional a different dialog box appears. This dialog
box is as follows:

Username:

Password:

I am wondering if the fact that I not prompted for a
username when using the ME machine is the problem.

If this is the problem how in the world do I get around it.

WindowsMe does not support this type of connection. You must create a user
with the same name (and password, if one is used) that you log onto
WindowsMe with.
