Via a Linksys wireless router and DSL I have a Win ME
desktop connecting to the internet and working well. I
have a notebook running XP connecting wirelessly to the
internet and working well. I'm trying to get the 2
computers sharing resources (files and printers) with one
another...but cannot seem to get it to work.

Both are in the same workgroup. On both ME and XP
machines, if I look at the computers in the workgroup, I
only see the LAPTOP....the DESKTOP is not showing up.

I have idenified a shared folder on the LAPTOP and have
created files in this folder. I can access this shared
folder and these files from the DESKTOP.

It seems that no matter what I try, I cannot get the
DESKTOP to be found in this network. Anyone have any idea
how to make this work???

I have a similar problem trying to a share a network
between my XP and ME desktops. My ME does not recognize
the XP computer, and when I try to access my ME computer
on XP, it says that it cannot find the computer in the
network.
I have no problem with internet sharing between the two
computers.
