me as host to 98

i recently networked my system to my g/f's 98 system,had
it working and her kids took it to there dads and since it
come back i tried to set it back up and when i try to run
the network wizard floppy on the 98 to set it back up it
say it erred and something about administrative controls ,
only thing i know he did was try to put another hard drive
in it but it wasnt compatible so he put the original back
in any help would be appreciated, dont know anything
about the administrator part.
