Thanks, "ph". Yes, you can do that. Set up Internet Connection
Sharing on ME, and configure XP as an ICS client. I've written some

Don't run XP's Network Setup Wizard on the ME computer even if it
tells you to.

Canceling the login will prevent the ME system from accessing shared
disks and folders on the XP system. To remove the password, go to the
C:\Windows folder and delete the file <username>.pwl.
