I have a second house line starting 0845, which allows me to call
Orange mobiles (Contract or PAYG) for free.

Does anyone know if the same is true from the Orange mobile to the
0845 number or is it charged? If charged for at what rate is it
charged?

TIA
Steve

No idea, but why retain the 0845 number..? You can get it changed to a
normal number for free. ISTR there's a link on the website somewhere, but
I don't have this it's from memory setting up a friend's system.

I think Orange charge 25p per minute to 0845 numbers on most PAYG tarriffs.
Not cheap IMO...

Oh I see, it's an Orange VoIP service, just looking at it now.
So why do they give you an 0845 initially when you can get
a Geo for each handset? An Orange scam? Heaven forefend!

Why didn't you introduce your friend to proper (ie. cheap)
VoIP Ivor?

Sign in to Your account and go to Manage your second line and the change
number to a 01/02 number.
