What is the maximum IP Addresses you can have on a Windows 2003 Server with
one NIC?

As far as i know, no. However, as I see it, use of may IP addresses
on a single NIC has very limited use, if any at all.

I believe as many as you want, but what's the purpose? If on a domain
controller, whether W2k or W2k3, things start to have problems with more
than 15:

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your posting here.

I think there is no limitation on the number of IP addresses that can be
bound to a NIC. The limitation is on system resources. I heard that
somebody has added more than 1 thousand IP addresses to a NIC.

Have a nice day!

Bob,
Are there any registry changes necessary like in Window NT 4.0 (check
out technet article 149426)?

In NT4, there was a limit in what the GUI would accept. In Windows 2000 or
newer, the limitation has been removed.

Hi Eric,

You do not need to modify the registry in Windows Server 2003. You can just
add more IP addresses in the Network Properties of Windows Server 2003.

Thank you again for using Microsoft Newsgroup!
