Max DSL - First 10 Days

I'm moving over to IDNETs Max DSL service, and it should all be activated
today.

I know that the system will be variable for upto 10 days while it finds it's
feet, but I've also heard acounts that state that often it's all sorted
within 3 days. No problem there... except I'm going to be away for a few
days.

Is the fact that I'm going to be away (and thus not putting any load on my
connection) going to have a negative effect on this process (or a positive
one for that matter)? I'm only 700m from the exchange so I'm expecting a
good connection (>6Mbps).

As long as you leave your router on, everything will be ok & at least
you won't be pulling your hair out during the 'training period'..
