The key to Windows networking is to use the same, single protocol on
all computers. Using the same workgroup name on all computers isn't
strictly necessary, but it makes networking a little easier.
WfW 3.11 comes with NetBEUI and IPX/SPX, but not TCP/IP. However,
there's a TCP/IP download available from Microsoft, Install it, and
then un-install NetBEUI and IPX/SPX:
