Master Socket ADSL

Hi,
Im looking for a master socket that has two output blocks that you press the
cable in too 1 filtered for phones etc and 1 for ADSL so i can put
downstairs phone cable and dialler on filtered for phone and upstairs cable
for ADSL where thats all thats on upstairs sockets anyone know if/where i
can get them?

But what do you do if you've NOT got a master socket at all (just a
blanked off box labelled GPO!). The ISP say it's BT's job to install
one - and (yes) BT say it's up to the ISP to request a fitting.

See similar recent posts re: NTE5's, you can request BT install an NTE5 for
you, it'll cost you though.

Well I've clearly been trying...

but a filtered NTE5 requires the ISP to ask I thought - certainly BT
have shown no interest directly.

Get BT to fit a standard NTE5 (for which they'll charge) then change the
lower half of the faceplate yourself, you're allowed to do that.

why do you assume that?
it's a necessary (and fairly trivial) step in installing a filtered
NTE5, which they do fairly standardly gratis when necessary

But I clearly know this - I also know that the ISP can request it, which
is what I'd prefer here :-)
