We currently have 3 DC, which I have set to "Enabled" as master browsers. I
set all the other servers on these subnets to "Auto". However, all of the
workstations\laptops are also set to "Auto", which is causing poor
performance when they are forced an election and become the master browser.
Is there a method that I can use that will allow me to change this setting to
"disable" without having to go to every user and do it manually? Please tell
me it is, because we have over 300 users.

This shouldn't cause you any problems. The workstations shouldn't ever
win an election over a server. And disabling the option on all the
workstations could cause you problems if you have 300 users. Microsoft
recommend one backup browser for every 32 workstations.

What is triggering off the browser elections? Are any of the servers
multihomed or used for remote access?
