From your description, it seems like that MAS90 app is the culprit and not
the OS or any other apps running. App lockups are difficult to nail down and
debug. Have you contacted the vendor?
It could even come down to a memory issue, which can cause lockups, Could
even be the architecture, (CPU, Chipset or RAM brand). See if these may help
below, but I would contact them and explain to them what you explained here.
Or it could be a simple driver doing it. Does the MAS90 (not really familiar
with what it is) have a driver that gets installed?
