mapping a Linux NFS share on windows 2008

I am trying out Windows 2008 these days, i cant figure out how to map a
Linux NFS share on my Windows 2008 desktop.. can you tell me how ?

Hello Stingray,

What error message do you get when you try to create the mapping? WHat way
do you use \\servername\share or another one?

I just want to know the process of mapping a remote NFS on Windows 2008

like the NFS server is on 172.16.1.53 and the mount that i have shared
on the Linux server is /mnt/nfsnonraid/nfs/vmfiles/ .

when i try to access the server as \\172.16.1.53\vmfiles or
\\172.16.1.53\mnt\nfsnonraid\nfs\vmfiles\ i am unsucessfull.

Hello Stingray,

Did you isntall the "Client for NFS"? See here about using NFS:
