Mapped drives

For some reason every time some of the users on the network log off one
of their network drives don't show up. I have read through some of
the posts in here and, indexing is turned off, they don't have any
removable devices that use that drive letter, and there are no log on
scripts there to take the mapped drive off either. It is mapped to
there profile from the server (Windows Server 2003 R2). It is only on
two or three of the user's computers.

Maybe OT, but I'd just use login scripts and force a deletion of any locally
mapped drives, and then map them. It's better than relying on
locally-remembered connections; it's more reliable, and you get centralized
control.

see the thing is that the users are low level users, and the only way
they know how to get to that drive is to go in through corel word
perfect. It is where all of there files are saved it has only happened
on a few computers. Every day we have to go around and re map them to
there drive. It is only one drive out of the 4 that they need that wont
show back up.

This is even a *better* reason to force the drive mappings via login script.
