Mapped Drives Disconnect after Inactivity

I have a Win98 pc that has mapped drives from a Win2000
Pro pc. At bootup the mapped drives connect with no
problem, but then disconnect after a few minutes of
inactivity and won't reconnect until a reboot. Is there a
setting to disable the inactivity issue??

Try disabling autodisconnect as shown in this article ... note that the fix
needs to be applied to the server, not to the client; you may have to reboot
the client, not the server, once applied.
