I have an old version of Linux called Mandrake 7. It was bought with a
Linux MAx magazine around 2000 or 2001. Is it too antiquated to setup
wireless networking? (Broadband pppoe system-DSL) I have Linksys pcmcia
card and Microsoft router.

Yes, not to mention missing a whole boat load of security fixes.

10.0 Official if you want to get current.

You are correct, but it maybe a bit too bleeding edge and feel free to
tell OP where he can buy it today and install tonight.

Oh, frap, I should have checked. I had seen the community there.

Guessed OP does not have a fast download or burner if he was loading 7.
