Hello.

I have trouble in one question.
I have network Lan+NAT+ some Linux servers + windows workstations.
Main server - linux with nat/dhcpd/bind - its for ex. sub.domain.com
and i have server on other wan connection but with second interface in
my lan - its mail server (ex. domain.com)
Connections from Lan do mail server is made by main server --> WAN -- >
WAN interface od mail server.
How to tell for all workastions that here is shorter way to connect to
mail server - directly by LAN not wan?

Rogi

a) Set up BIND so that queries from the LAN for the mail server name
resolve to its LAN address instead of its WAN address.

b) Or add a proper direct route to the WAN address on all stations or on
the main server.
