I have 4 Macs running 10.2.8 on an ethernet hub with a Linksys wet11
ethernet to wireless bridge. I have other Macs with airport cards.

The Macs accessing the network via the Wet11 device cannot "Connect To"
machines (Mac or Windows) on the other side of the Wet11 device.
The Macs with airport cards can "Connect To" just fine.
The Macs accessing the network via the WET11 are able to access the
internet.
A Windwos 2000 machine accessing the network via the WET11 can access
the server just fine.

Last school year, the Macs using the Wet11 device accessed the server
just fine. This year they can't.

Any ideas on what to fiddle with? The network admin is stumped. I'm
the local Mac champion and get no help.

TIA

I have a 9600 (Sonnet G4/800) connected to a WET11. The WET11 is
running the latest firmware, 1.54. I have no problem seeing systems on
either side of the WET11. (Systems are Macs, one PC and one SGI Indy.)

Make sure that your file sharing is turned on for those Macs who will be
sharing since sometimes OS upgrades turns the file sharing preferences
off.

Since you didn't mention your make/model/configuration of the WAP,
ensure that it, too, has the latest firmware.

Sorry I can't be more help. Good luck.
