Hi,

I have a problem with wireless connect on OSX (10.2.5) on a Powerbook.

If I turn on encryption (WPA or WEP) OSX insists on entry of the
passphrase every time I turn on the airport extreme card.

If I leave the card on then the battery runs down more quickly.

If I disable enrypytion then the whole thing's insecure but I can turn
on and off the wireless easily.

Can anyone give me any advice on a decent solution to this?

Thanks in advance,
David

I've yet to use OSX but does it have something like OS9's keychains?
The idea being the keychain utility would automatically authenticate
you whenever it was necessary.
